Atlantic Protection Services of Maryland has taken a unique approach to the business of contract security. Our employment strategy enables us to employ strictly the best in the business, far surpassing the processes and results of most our competitors. All of our Security Guards are certified, licensed, insured and bonded as well as rigorously screened and trained. Our Security Supervisors are on duty and available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, as a constant liaison between our clients and their specific Security Guards. Each Supervisor is required to possess a minimum seven years of law enforcement or security management experience.
Atlantic Protection Services of Maryland has developed a theory of “Enforcement through Reinforcement”. The management, having over 50 combined years of security and law enforcement experience, has realized that prevention of crime can be accomplished by utilizing tactical approaches–rather than accusations and the traditional methods of our predecessors. The art of “verbal judo” is commonplace in our organization and has often been effective in deescalating volatile situations.

We pride ourselves on the appearance of our personnel as well as their conduct. Our uniformed Security Guards are outfitted with police-type uniforms, and our corporate guidelines require uniforms to be pressed and clean at all times, shoes polished and men to be clean-shaven with neat haircuts.
